NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
POSITION: SG | FROM: Kansas | HT: 6-5 | WT: 215 |
BORN: 4/20/00 | YEAR: Sr. | WING: 6-10 | REACH: NA |
Draft Notes
The 6-5 shooting guard lifted his shooting averages to 47/39/77 this season, for 18 points per game. This efficiency, along with his high level athleticism and solid NBA frame has him in the first round discussion with some lottery whispers in there as well.
Agbaji is built like an NBA shooting guard and shows flashes of big-time ability. He can really fly up and down the court and soar in the air when attacking the rim.
His 3pt shooting will be his swing skill at the next level. If he can master this part of his craft he’ll have a very long successful NBA career.
He’s not always been known as a creative offensive player or a guy who can get his own offense or create plays for others but he did show a much improved dribble-drive game this year and better handles.
Although he’s a senior he’s young for his class and is improving on a nice trajectory.
