-2TeamPlayerUpdated 7/15/24 – Latest News and DevelopmentsComp.
PistonsCooper FlaggPF – Duke – HT: 6-9 – WT: 205 – WING: NA – Fr – Flagg is a unique prospect; a dominant defensive player who has a massive impact on the game, even when he’s not scoring the ball. He’s a complete offensive player who can dribble, pass and shoot, but doesn’t necessarily project as a first option or an elite iso-scorer. His outside shot still needs some work but shows plenty of promise. He’s one of the most complete prospects you’ll ever see with elite ability on both ends of the court. NBA ComparisonsAndrei Kirilinko+, Scottie Pippen
WizardsNolan TraorePG – France – HT: 6-4 – WT: 184 – WING: 6-8 – Int.06 Traore is an elite level point guard prospect who can do it all; pass the rock, push the pace, hit the 3 and defend on the ball. He excels at getting into the lane and finishing in traffic and is also lethal from downtown. He’s really been coming on strong as a prospect and flying up the 2025 draft rankings. In my eyes he’s a lock to be a top 5 pick and could even challenge for the top spot, he’s that good. 2025 Draft Overviewtaller Tony Parker, Kyrie
NetsDylan HarperSG – Rutgers – HT: 6-5 – WT: 215 – WING: 6-10 – Fr – Harper plays with advanced skill, feel for the game and big time shot-making ability. He loves to operate with the ball in his hands and can score from 3 levels. He isn’t an elite athlete but has a strong frame and is a big time offensive talent who just knows how to play and how to win. He’s an alpha dawg who could challenge for the top pick in the 2025 draft.James Harden, stronger Coby White
RaptorsAirious “Ace” BaileySF – Rutgers – HT: 6-9 – WT: 200 – WING: NA – Fr – Ace has as much upside as any player in his class. He has awesome size for a wing and big time ability. He’s a tough shot taker and a tough shot maker – but needs to improve his shot selection and not fall in love with the jumper. It’s rare to find a 6-9 player who moves the way he does and has the advanced skill level to go with the athletic tools. The Scarlet Knights are one of the premier teams for draft fans to watch this season.TMac, Josh Smith
HornetsVJ EdgecombeSF – Baylor (Bahamas) – HT: 6-4 – WT: 188 – WING: 6-6 – Fr – An elite talent at the SG position with all the physical tools and intangibles to be great. Edgecombe glides on the court and is the type of athlete that is hard to look away from. He gets above the rim effortlessly, plays with a ton of intensity and seems to have all the intangibles that make the great ones great. I don’t give him the Dwayne Wade comp lightly. He has a chance to be that good. Baylor has had a number of big time guard prospects in recent years but VJ could be the best.Jalen Green, D. Wade, Oladipo
JazzEgor Demin PG – BYU (Russia) – HT: 6-9 – WT: NA – WING: NA – Fr – Demin is a tall lead guard with a unique game. He has great court vision, great passing instincts and an awesome feel for the game at 6-9. He attacks close-outs well and is a good finisher in traffic. He’s also a capable shot-maker who has really improved hist outside shot, making him a complete offensive player. The BYU team has a number of future NBA level players on this year’s squad and Demin is the best of the bunch.
BlazersHugo GonzalezSG – Spain – HT: 6-6 – WT: NA – WING: NA – Int.06 – Hugo plays a complete game and competes at a high level. He’s a talented shot maker, passer and has a special feel for the game. He moves well off the ball, is a great cutter and is a very capable play-maker/initiator as well. He’s one of the best in the second tier of prospects in the 2025 draft, after the elite top 5. ArticleEvan Fournier+
BullsDink PateSG – Mexico City Capitanes – HT: 6-7 – WT: 180 – WING: NA – Int – Pate has awesome size for a combo guard and can play on or off the ball. He’s got excellent handles, good passing instincts and impressive athleticism. He didn’t see a ton of run in his one season for the now defunct Ignite team but was impressive in his limited minutes. He’ll need to shoot the ball better and will have some things to prove this season before jumping to the 2025 draft.
Spurs (Hawks)Tre JohnsonSG – Texas – HT: 6-6 – WT: 180 – WING: NA – Fr – Tre is a pure bucket-getter who can fill it up from 3 levels. He’s super smooth with the ball and makes the game look easy. He’s not an elite athlete but gets it done with his super high skill level, good handles and great shooting touch. After missing out on AJ Johnson last year Longhorns fans will be getting a treat with this kid.Richard Hamilton, Alec Burks
SpursRocco ZikarskyC – Brisbane, NBL (Australia) – HT: 7-3 – WT: NA – WING: 7-5 – Int.06 – A mountain of a man with decent mobility and a lot of upside. Rocco controls the boards on both ends and is a solid rim protector and paint defender. He’s got some shooting touch from mid range and is a solid low post scorer. He’s one of the best international players for the 2025 draft and could end up in the lottery.bigger Andris Biedrins
PelicansKhaman MaluachC – Duke (South Sudan) – HT: 7-2 – WT: 250 – WING: 7-6 – Fr – Maluach is an intriguing big man who has great length, size and upside. He defends the rim well and can step out on offense and hit the 3-ball. He needs to get stronger and play with more aggression. He’ll be one of the more interesting prospects to watch as he adjusts to college ball. The tools are all there but his game is still a work in progress and he has a long ways to go in putting it all together on the court.
Hawks (Lakers)Liam McNeeleySF – UConn – HT: 6-7 – WT: 190 – WING: NA – Fr – Big, strong and highly skilled as a shot-maker and as a defender, Liam is one of the best 3pt shooters in his class and can get red hot from outside. He’s got a smooth and repeatable release and is deadly accurate. Has good cutting ability and feel for moving without the ball. Liam has a strong build and can guard up and down the line-up. He projects as a possible one and done lottery pick.stronger Martell Webster
ClippersNoa EssenguePF – France – HT: 6-10 – WT: 195 – WING: NA – Int.06 – Essengue is a super long combo forward with a ton of upside but a raw game. He’s at this best going to the basket and using his athleticism to make plays and is starting to expand his offensive arsenal.
RocketsMichael RuzicPF – Croatia- HT: 6-9 – WT: NA – WING: NA – Int.06 – Ruzic is a smooth-scoring combo forward with a lot of offensive upside. 17Jazz (Cavs)Jarin StevensonPF – Alabama – HT: 6-10 – WT: 210 – WING: NA – So – A versatile big who can stretch the floor and knock down the 3 ball. Plays with energy, rebounds the ball well and is solid on D. He’s not the most powerful player and has more of a finesse game.tougher Trey Lyles
