NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
POSITION: SG | FROM: Wake Forest | HT: 6-5 | WT: 210 |
BORN: NA | YEAR: Sr. | WING: NA | REACH: NA |
Draft Notes
Williams is a sturdy guard who excels at penetrating the lane and scoring from mid range and at the rim. He’s also an excellent passer who finds shooters off of penetration. He’s averaging over 5 assists per game (and 3.5 TO’s)
From a physical standpoint he’s a solid 6-5 with a thick base and good strength. He’s not the most explosive athlete and doesn’t have the quickest first step but he uses his strength and size well and has enough athleticism for the next level.
Williams’ one area of weakness is a shooting the 3pt shot. He’s a solid FT shooter but has yet to become consistent from outside.
