Draft Notes
Burton is senior wing who projects as one of the more NBA ready players in the 2024 draft. While he might not be a star at the next level he should be able to contribute early and provide good value for whichever team drafts him, especially if he ends up in the mid second round.
Burton is a glue guy who operates within the flow of the offense and is very efficient with his touches. He’s not an elite 3pt shooter but should be above NBA average and will be a good floor spacer.
Burton is rock solid on the defensive end and is fundamentally sound. He’s a good team defender and has some versatility as well. He’s not the most toolsy in terms of length and high end athleticism but his strength, smarts and good instincts go a long way.
