Draft Notes
Edwards is a 5-star wing prospect from Philadelphia who has all of the tools to be a star at the NBA level. He’s a very good athlete with size and length and the skills to match.
The 6-7 lefty is built for the NBA with good length explosive athleticism and a frame that will let him add plenty of strength and weight as he matures.
Has a compact, consistent and repeatable shooting form and hits with accuracy. His 3pt shot really opens up the driving lane for him and he does a good job of attacking close-outs.
Can shoot off movement or catch and shoot. Does a good job of hunting his shot and moving without the ball.
Is very skilled with the ball in his hands – can handle in traffic and against pressure and provide some play-making. Makes the game look easy. Has a deep bag and can put together combo moves and shake n bake his way to the hoop.
A hard worker who is locked in on bringing his game to the next level.
Isn’t an elite athlete but plays above the rim with ease and shows good body control and the ability to adsorb contact going to the rim.
