Draft Notes
Tyson had a huge junior season, putting in over 19ppg and nearly 7 rebounds per game, and putting himself squarely the NBA Draft conversation.
He’s an aggressive and talented scorer with a NBA frame, who can impose his will on the defense.
He’s a high level athlete with a lot of strength who certainly looks the part of a NBA wing. He’s s good transition athlete and a solid all around defender, with quick hands and feet.
Tyson can score inside and out. He operates well in the mid range and can knock down the 3, hitting about 36% from downtown. He’s also a solid FT shooter at 80%.
He didn’t show much on the defensive end but he has the tools to work with. Becoming a serviceable defender will be key to his success.
