NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
| POSITION: SG | FROM: USA | HT: 6-5 | WT: 230 |
| BORN: 11/24/98 | YEAR: 98 | WING: NA | REACH: NA |
Draft Notes
Act two in the circus. LiAngelo is a solid wing prospect who can score the ball but doesn’t have any elite skills. He’s many steps below Lonzo as a prospect and a few steps below LaMelo as well. Even if he has the talent to get drafted teams might shy away from him to avoid dealing with you know who.
Strengths
- A crafty scorer with a sniper’s mentality. Shoots with a lot of confidence.
- Has a solid frame and natural strength
- Has a soft touch around the rim and a solid mid range game
- Shoots with good rotation and excellent form with deep range
Weaknesses
- Lacks athleticism and is very much a below the rim player.
- Has average length/size for a wing and below average quickness
- Projects as a poor defender when matched up against NBA level talent.
Comparisons
- A shorter Adam Morrison
- Bubba Wells
