Thomas is a long, physical and aggressive guard who really gets after it on defense. His strength,
athleticism and excellent length allow him to guard 3 positions, making him a versatile defender and one of the best defensive prospects in the draft.
Strengths

- Wingspan/length allowing him to play bigger than his 6-3 height
- Lateral quickness and agility
- Defensive intensity and effort
- Shot selection and improved accuracy (shooting over 50% from the floor and over 40% from 3 on nearly 5 attempts per game)
- Impacts all aspects of the game and does all the dirty work
- Has become an excellent 3 point marksman
- A ball-hawk who puts a ton of pressure on the ball handler
- Has developed into an excellent free throw shooter
- Has become a more creative ball-handler and learned to get his own shot
- Can score from all three levels
- A natural slasher who excels at taking the ball into the lane and using his length and athleticism to score in traffic
- NBA ready
Weaknesses
- Might be more of a glue-guy than a star at the next level
- Doesn’t have ideal height for the 2 position (but makes up for it with length)
