NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
|POSITION: SG||FROM: Georgia Tech|
|HT: 6-4 1/2||WT: 213|
|BORN: NA||YEAR: NA||WING: 7-0||REACH: 8-5|
A long armed and active SG/wing who has great physical tools and intriguing upside, especially on the defensive end.
Well built, solid athlete who has good strength, exceptional length and an emerging game. Okogie has the potential to be a lock down defender who can guard 1-3. This defensive versatility could earn him a spot on an NBA roster, as the rest of his game rounds into form.
He’s a good (but not great) jump shooter who can stroke the three and does a decent job from the free throw line. Attacks the basket well and draws a lot of fouls.
At this point his offensive game is unrefined but shows a lot of potential.
Doesn’t have great foot speed and can play a bit heavy at times.
Doesn’t project as a high end three point shooter at the NBA level.
Doesn’t have a great feel for the game and isn’t much of set-up man. Turns the ball over too often and doesn’t always make the best decisions with the ball.
- Dion Glover.
