Wesley Yates III

Draft Notes

Yates III is a natural scorer with a nose for the bucket. He’s got size, strength, good handles and a knack for getting into the lane and scoring the ball.

A high level 3pt shooter who can get streaky hot from outside. Has a quick and easy release on his jumper.

Uses his strength well to shed defenders and find room for his shot.

Doesn’t have an elite first step or crazy bounce but is a good/solid athlete.

A decent passer but not a pass-first guy. Has a few. too many turnovers and needs to clean those up.

Overall a high level SG prospect with first round potential.
