Draft Notes
Tyler Smith is a long lefty power forward who flashes big time potential. He was a highly related recruit who played in the OTE league before joining the Ignite last year.
He’s a well built player with solid, lean frame and good coordination. And he’s got good springs and can really play above the rim.
Smith is an excellent 3pt shooter who lets it fly with tons of confidence. He can get his outside shot off the dribble and gets into his shot with good pace and rhythm. He’s also got handles and can bring the ball up the court and attack off the bounce.
His floor spacing ability along with his size and above the rim ability will get him looks in the mid first round and there’s even a chance he goes at the back end of the lottery.
