Draft Notes

Castle is a big guard who is at his best with the ball in his hands and using his impressive array of moves to get into the lane to score or make plays for teammates. He’s a dynamic athlete with a quick first step, a lot of shake n bake and a great feel for knocking defenders off balance.

At 6-6 he’s got the size to play up and down the line-up. He’s a creator who can get his own offense and take over games when necessary. Has the ball on a string and can put together combinations of moves. Absorbs contact well and can power through defenders to finish in the lane.

His outside shot looks good but is not yet consistently accurate. He’ll likely become a solid 3pt shooter in time but still has work to do in this area of his game.

Is wired to score but has play-making skills too and plays with his head up. Plays an unselfish game, even while getting his own shots.

Can drive and finish with either hand.

Has a really good frame with broad shoulders and good length. Isn’t the most vertically explosive player but has great body control, chance of pace, deceleration and balance.
