Stephen Zimmerman NBA Draft Scouting Report

7-0 – Center – UNLV

A mobile, long and talented center with a great feel on the offensive end.

Has a very high skill level for a young 7-footer, with an advanced offensive game and nice shooting touch.

Can handle the ball with ease (lefty) and does a good job of seeing the floor and finding teammates. Shows a good understanding of the game and makes the right play with the ball.

Has an excellent form on his shot, with range out to three. Projects as a solid three point threat at the next level.

Very quick in the open court with nice lateral quickness as well. Slides his feet very well for a 7 footer and is quick on the back peddle. Gets off the floor well and can change a lot of shots with his length.

Needs to get bigger, stronger and become an intimidator in the paint. Will be over matched against the bigger, stronger NBA centers.

Doesn’t have great back to the basket moves and is more of a face up player.

Doesn’t project as a high level rebounder or shot blocker at the next level.

Reminds of Jason Smith with some Vin Baker in his game.

Projection: mid to late first round to early second round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft
