NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
POSITION: SG | FROM: G League Ignite (France) | HT: 6-7 | WT: 220 |
BORN: 4/2/04 | YEAR: Int.04 | WING: 6-9 1/4 | REACH: NA |
Draft Notes
Sidy is a sturdy 6-7 combo guard who can play on or off the ball.
He has a very solid frame and natural strength plus a solid 6-9+ wingspan.
Has big ability and upside on the defensive end and is able to guard 1-3, possibly even guarding the 4. Gives great effort on D. and this could be his calling card early in his NBA career.
A talented passer and play-maker who sees the floor well and has natural passing instincts. Looks very in control with the ball in his hands and does a good job of running an offense – although still has work to do in understanding the game, developing his ball handling and decision making.
Is far from a polished outside shooter and has a lot of work to do to become consistent from outside. Isn’t a primary scoring type of player.
Uses his size and strength to carve out room and can play some bully ball going to the rim. A solid finisher in close.
Sidy isn’t an elite run/jump athlete and doesn’t have great burst with the ball.
