Draft Notes

Wright III is one of the most dynamic players in college basketball. He’s a jitterbug with the ball and has an incredible first step and knack for getting into the lane and scoring the rock. He’s an excellent finisher despite being undersized and has a massive impact on the offensive end.

A true point guard who plays with good court vision and awareness. He’s a penetrate and dish type of player who can really run the offense and lead the team.

His lack of size is the obvious major concern. It’s rare for sub-6-foot guards to make it in the league, even if they are super talented. He’s going to be a great, great college player but we’ll have to see if he can have an impact at the next level.
