Draft Notes
R.J. Davis is a speedy, undersized point guard who plays with big heart.
Davis is at his best breaking down the defense with the dribble and using his quickness to penetrate and score or dish the ball. He can get past almost any defender and using his tight handles and blazing speed.
He’s also become an extremely dangerous 3pt shooter who can dance with the ball and get his shot off over defenders. He’s a great FT shooter and a player you want to have the ball in the closing minutes of a game.
His size will hurt him at the NBA level, especially on the defensive end.
