Draft Notes

Scruggs is a long, rangy and talented senior from Xavier who has improved every year and is working his way into the second round conversation.

Scruggs can penetrate the defense, is a good slasher and a plus passer. He’s got a massive 6-10 wingspan which he uses well on both ends of the floor. He’s a crafty scorer, a good but not great outside shooter but good enough to keep the defense honest.

On defense he’s a steals machine and a tough, versatile defender who can guard 1-3. He’s a leader and a winner who has all the makings of an NBA role player.
