Pascal Siakam NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-9 – PF – New Mexico State

A well built PF who has great length and can really get off the ground.

Is becoming a force in the paint and has an intriguing amount of upside. Gets way above the rim for dunks and is a quick leaper with great length. Plays bigger than his 6-9 listing.

Can score with either hand and is developing a nice post game.

Runs the floor well and is a threat in transition. Has good overall quickness and coordination, to go along with good strength.

An intimidator in the paint who alters and blocks a lot of shots.

Still rounding out his game and figuring out how to put it all together. Can be careless with the ball and too turnover prone. Doesn’t always catch the ball well.

Is a poor free throw shooter.

Reminds me of Amare Stoudamire, but maybe not as good a leaper.

Projection: possible first round to mid second round pick in the 2016 or 2017 NBA Draft
