Draft Notes

A brute force in the paint, Ballo is built like a young Eddy Curry but with a bit more talent. He’s not much of a vertical athlete but his length helps him play above the rim and his wide base clears space in the lane.

He shows flashes of skill that make you think he’ll develop a solid mid range game.

Ballo transferred to Arizona after one year at Gonzaga and then on to Indiana.

Comparisons

  • Eddy Curry
  • slower Thomas Bryant
