NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
POSITION: SF | FROM: Memphis | HT: 6-7 | WT: 230 |
BORN: NA | YEAR: Jr. | WING: NA | REACH: NA |
Draft Notes
Landers got off to a very fast start to his college career, showing knockdown shooting ability with a quick stroke during his one year at Virginia Tech.
He’s not the greatest athlete in terms of agility and vertical explosion but he’s got good feet and a lot of natural strength. He’s a heady player who uses ball fakes well and knows how to get the defender off balance. He’s a capable driver/ball-handler who shows some creativity with the ball.
His shooting stroke is his main NBA skill at this point and he’ll have to round out the rest of his offensive game and improve his defense to make it in the NBA.
