NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
POSITION: PG | FROM: Alabama | HT: 6-3 | WT: 180 |
BORN: 4/6/01 | YEAR: So. | WING: 6-5 | REACH: 8-5 |
Draft Notes
Kira Lewis is a lightening quick point guard who does a great job of getting downhill and using his speed to get to the basket, while also being an efficient outside shooter. He’s very young for his class (younger than most freshman in this draft) and is loaded with upside.
He can get his own shot off the dribble and does a good job of drawing the defense and finding the open man. Kira has excellent shooting form and projects as an above average NBA 3pt shooter.
He operates well in the pick and roll, showing good decision making, keeping the defense on it’s heels with his blow-by speed and keeping the defense honest with his outside shooting ability.
He’s a thin/light player who needs to add muscle to hold up on the defensive end.
