Draft Notes

Kai Sotto is taking his talents to the G League, joining Jalen Green, Isaiah Todd and other top prospects in the Professional Pathway Program as they prepare for the 2021 NBA draft.

Sotto is an intriguing prospect who comes from good basketball bloodlines (father Ervin Sotto) and who has shown marked improvement in his frame over the past couple of seasons. He’s been focused on basketball all is life and it shows in his skill level, passing and great understanding of the game.

Kai isn’t the most agile big man so he’ll have to rely more on his great height and basketball instincts. He’ll have to develop his lower body strength and work on his agility and foot-speed to be able to defend at the next level.
