A well built small forward who has natural strength, broad shoulders and solid athletic ability. Born to score the rock, Strawther can light it up from downtown and make plays off the bounce. He’s got a frame that projects well to the NBA level and has all the makings of a big time small forward prospect.
- Has good size for the wing position
- Shoots the ball well – has good form and a clean follow through
- Gets good elevation on his jumper and has a quick release
- Projects as a high level three point shooter
- Has a quick release
- Has the size and strength to make plays in the lane – rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor
- Changes ends well and can lead the fast break and handle in the open court
- Has good vision as a passer
- Can be a go-to scorer on occasion
- Very active defender who can pressure the ball
- Can be sloppy with the dribble and needs to tighten up his handles
- Doesn’t have much of left hand yet
