NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
Draft Notes
Chris Livingston is a big shooting guard with a lot of burst and above the rim ability.
He has really good athleticism with some big pluses and some minuses as well (see below). He’s developing an NBA body and has broad shoulders, very good upper body strength and a lot of speed.
Livingston is at his best in a fast paced game and he’s a nightmare to defend when he gets the ball in the open court. He’s got lateral agility, an attacking style and he plays above the rim with ease. He’s got a creative layup package with hang time, up and under’s and the ability to finish through contact.
Livingston is bouncy when jumping off of one foot or two and can bring the house down with his dunking ability.
He’s got kind of a weird running style with his legs flaring out to the sides a little. He’s light in his lower body and has some work to do to tighten up his running form and improve his base.
Livingston doesn’t always show the best body language, something that needs to be cleaned up if he’s going to star at the next levels.
Needs to work on finishing with his left.
