Draft Notes
Nick Smith is a big, dynamic point guard/combo guard who projects as a high lottery pick in the 2023 NBA draft.
Smith has springy legs, really good bounce and above the rim ability. He’s got a long 6-9 wingspan which helps him play bigger than his size, score in traffic and make plays in the lane.
He’s lights out with the ball in his hands and might be the most talented scorer in his class. He doesn’t have elite Jaden Ivey level burst or first step but he’s quick with the ball and has a suddenness to his game.
Has a frame that can add more weight, with broad shoulders and great length.
Has easy 3pt range and a very smooth jumper.
Has a deep bag.
