Draft Notes

Ament is a long, lean and immensely talented combo forward prospect who is a big time shot maker and a smooth offensive talent. He’s got all the upside in the world and is just scratching the surface of his potential but also has some limitations with his speed/athleticism.

He’s got great height for the position and a frame that will continue to add weight. He’s already put on some good weight, bulking up to over 200lbs and he should continue to get stronger as he grows up.

He’s very talented with the ball in his hands for a young player his size, showing the ability to handle in the open court, break down the defense and shoot it off the dribble. His limitations come with trying to gain separation on his drives, as he lacks blow by speed and top end athleticism. He doesn’t but a lot of pressure on the rim, doesn’t dunk the ball often and is overall more of a smooth athlete rather than an explosive athlete.

His outside shot has a chance to be his bread and butter. He’s got deep range on his jumper and the potential to be a big time perimeter threat thanks to his great shooting form at his size. His jumper hasn’t been falling as much as you’d like but the form is great and he still has a lot of promise as an outside shooter.

Can be a disruptive defender with his size and length but needs to move his feet better and can get beat off the dribble. His added strength will really help out on this end of he court.

A big upside player who is full of talent to unlock.
