Draft Notes

Thiam has special tools with great size and impressive athleticism. He’s really developed his body and his game over the past few seasons, becoming a much stronger and more confident player in the post.

He’s a defensive anchor who shuts down the rim. He’s mainly a drop big and isn’t the most fleet-footed guy but has developing his understanding of the game and knows how to be in the right place.

Does most of his scoring in the lane, showing decent touch with both hands and a nice little baby hook.

Knows how to use his size to gain position and overpower defenders in the lane.

We’ll see over the coming years how his skill set and frame develops but the upside is definitely there.
