Draft Notes
Mojave King was born in New Zealand but grew up in Australia and is now playing in the NBL as a stepping stone to the 2021 NBA draft. A 6-5 shooting guard with a strong frame and good length, King has all the tools to succeed at the next level.
King seems to always be under control on the court and makes the game look easy. He’s got a smooth 3pt shot, with decent shooting form and the shows the ability to shoot off movement, curling around screens to find the open shot.
He uses his strength well when driving into the paint, showing the ability to bounce off defenders and finish through contact. His drives are under control and he’s got some nice up and under moves, euro-steps and a soft touch in the paint.
