Mikel Brown Jr.

Draft Notes

A lightning quick and shifty point guard who can get to his spots at will. Has a great combination of handles and a quick first step and he looks like a NBA player the way he moves on the court.

Has a smooth jumper and an overall smooth game. Has shown awesome improvements in his outside shot and become a knockdown shooter, who can score off the catch and shoot and off the bounce.

Lacks strength and will have to add muscle but has blow-by ability and is extremely dynamic with the ball in his hands. Has a nice floater and in-between game and a soft touch around the rim.

Has good hands on defense and does a nice job of moving his feet and staying in front of ball handlers. Is limited to mostly guarding 1’s and lacks the size/strength to guard wings.

Is quickly emerging as an elite talent.
