NBA DRAFT SCOUTING REPORT
POSITION: SF | FROM: Baylor | HT: 6-9 | WT: 225 |
BORN: Illinois | YEAR: Sr. | WING: NA | REACH: NA |
Draft Notes
Mayer is a versatile forward who can stretch the floor, handle the rock and get buckets. He’s a deadly 3pt sniper who loves to float around the perimeter and hunt his shot. He stays active on offense, moving without the ball well.
Mayer can break his man down off the dribble and get into the lane. His drives can be a bit wild but he’s starting to do a better job of harnessing his athleticism.
He’s an active defender who slides his feet well and does a good job of staying in front of his man. Versatile enough to guard either forward position.
