Draft Notes
Kyle Filipowski is a multi-talented 7-0 forward/center who was part of a special 2022 recruiting class for the Blue Devils. After testing the draft waters he’s back for year two at Duke.
He’s a slick ball handler and excellent passer for a big and can really shoot the ball. His floor spacing ability will be his most coveted skill at the NBA level.
Kyle has good mobility but isn’t a big time run jump athlete and will have to prove that he can handle defending in the PnR and in space. If he’s able to max out his defensive abilities he’ll have a long career in the league.
His point-forward skills and 3pt shooting at 7-0 give him a nice floor as a prospect and could get him drafted in the mid first round.
