Kyle Anderson NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-9 – Point Forward – UCLA

Pros

Exceptionally smooth ball handler and passer who displays a lot of point guard skills, in a small forwards body. Has great court vision and loves to find teammates with the pass. Excellent ball handler who is a match up nightmare for opposing guards. Has a very high overall skill level.

Good but not great outside shooter with good form on his jumper and will likely develop into a very good three point shooter. Controls the pace of the game well and is very effective in the half court sets. Plays a slow game but can surprise with his sudden moves to the rim. Good leader and a real winner.

Cons
Anderson is not a high level athlete and lacks elite quickness and leaping ability. Can’t get up for rebounds or play above the rim. It will be interesting to see if “Slow-Mo” can be effective at the next level.

Lacks consistency on his outside shot. Lacks a true position.
