Kingston Flemings

Draft Notes

A smooth point guard who can score the rock, get to the rim and finds teammates off the bounce. Kingston is dynamic with the ball in his hands and is one of the most exciting players in all of college basketball.

At about 6-3, maybe 6-4, he’s got good size and a ton of athletic juice. He plays above the rim with ease and is explosive going to the rim. His first step is as good as any prospect in the class.

Has developed into a very high level shooter who is lethal on step-back jumpers and from downtown. He doesn’t have the most pure looking jumper and the form could use a few tweaks but the results are great.

Is a true point guard who does a lot of scoring but is also a very heady passer and is always looking to make the right play. Is a great live dribble passer who makes some high level NBA reads.

Kingston is solid on the defensive end but I wouldn’t yet call that a strength of his game. He gives good effort and has all the tools to defends 1’s and some 2’s. And playing at Houston will certainly teach him a lot about playing defense.

He’s a fast-rising prospect who could end up as a high lottery pick.
