Kahlil Felder NBA Draft Scouting Report

5-9 – Point Guard – Oakland

A 5-9 dynamo who is lightening quick and near impossible to defend.

Pros
Has awesome quickness and explosiveness, combined with a rock solid body and very high skill level. Can get into the lane with ease and has a knack for knocking down tough shots.

An exceptional passer with an advanced understanding of the game. Has a great ability to draw the defense and find the open man.

Felder is a really good outside shooter who can get his shot off against taller players by using his quickness and driving ability to keep defenders on their heels. Uses the dribble very well and has nice shake-n-bake moves and a nice step-back J.

Is a really good free throw shooter, who has the ball in his hands at the end of games.

Cons
His size becomes a concern on the defensive end, especially projecting to the NBA level.

Needs to cut down on turnovers.

Comparisons
Reminds of Isaiah Thomas, both in body and playing style.

Projection: possible first round or second round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft
