BORN: NA | YEAR: Fr. | WING: 6-11 1/2 | REACH: 8-2 1/2 |
Draft Notes
Phillips is a long, wiry 6-7 wing with good athleticism and a nice looking outside shot.
He projects as a 3&D wing at the next level and has all the traits to develop into a standout defender who can guard up and down the line up.
Has big time athleticism and puts it to good use by playing hard and always hustling on the court. Does the dirty work. Is a solid rebounder and isn’t afraid to mix it up inside.
A good above the rim player with length and explosiveness.
Had a solid freshman season on a veteran-laden Tennessee team. He didn’t shoot the ball well from the field and was really not good from 3 (24%) but has a decent looking shot and shows some promise. He did hit 82% of his FT’s, which shows he has good touch on his shot.
