Draft Notes
Juhann Begarin is a 6-4+ power guard from France who clearly has NBA level athleticism and is a likely draft pick in 2021. He shows a lot of flashes of scoring talent but doesn’t yet have a great feel for the game and has a a ways to go to be NBA ready. Still, upside athletes get drafted and Bergarin has elite physical tools.
At this point he’s mostly a straight line driver, iso scoring option and transition player.
He has all the tools to be a great defender, including a massive 7-0 wingspan, and he shows flashes on that side of the ball as well.
He needs to play with more consistent intensity and learn the finer points of the game.
Comparisons
- He’s got a build and a playing style that reminds of Lonnie Walker but not as much feel for the game as Lonnie.
Draft Projection
late first to mid second round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft
