Jordan Mickey NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-8 – Power Forward – LSU

A powerful interior defender and elite shot blocker who lacks ideal height.

Pros
A fully committed defender who makes opponents think twice about coming into the lane. Blocks a ton of shots and changes many more. Does a very good job of avoiding fouls while still playing tough defense. Rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor.

Knows his role and doesn’t try to step out and hit jumpers. Hits a very high percentage from the floor and is a decent free throw shooter. Elite dunker who can sky above the rim.

Cons
At 6-8 does not have the height you’d like to see for a NBA power forward.

Turnover prone and lacks ball handling skills.

Projection: possible first round pick in the 2015 or 2016 NBA Draft
