Joe Jackson NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-0 – Point Guard – Memphis

A speedy but undersized point guard with good play making ability.

Pros
Very quick in the open court and penetrates into the lane well. Is a pass first player who keeps his teammates involved and has a good feel for spacing and timing on offense.

Is a much improved three point shooter and is now a real threat from downtown. Shoots a high percentage from the field as well and has the potential to be a very good free throw shooter (although has had some inconsistencies from the line).

A pesky on the ball defender who gets a good number of steals.

Cons
Is small and thin and will struggle to defend against most NBA guards.

Will have a hard time getting his shot at the next level and doesn’t project as much of a scorer at the next level.

Projection: second round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft
