Draft Notes

Gortman is an explosive athlete with truly elite burst and bounce. He’s got crafty handles and an elite first step and explodes into the lane. He’s ability to finish far above the rim and put defenders on posters.

He has signed with the Overtime Elite pro league, joining a number of other top prospects from the U.S. and around the world.

Gortman has got a wiry 6-2 frame with good length. He’s still skinny but he’s strong and can finish through contact.

He’s a combo guard who is undersized to play the 2 and will have to work on his play-making to run the point full time but has all of the athletic tools in the world. NBA level coaching will do his game wonders.
