Jamir Watkins

Draft Notes

Watkins is a terrific all around talent who impacts all aspects of the game and has a ton of versatility.

He’s a strong 6-7 player with a NBA frame and athleticism. He can defend multiple positions and do a bit of everything on offense.

He’s got great hands and reads plays well, showing great anticipation on defense.

Although he’s a wing he can handle the ball and initiate offense, showing good court vision and passing instincts.

He’s a capable outside shooter (hitting 34% from 3 as a junior) but still has work to do to be a knock down NBA 3pt shooter.
