Draft Notes

James Nnaji is a raw, powerful and athletic post player with massive upside but a very unrefined game. What he lacks in polish he makes up for with elite physical tools and the type of size, power and mobility that make NBA scouts drool.

He’s got broad shoulders and a ton of natural strength. He also appears to have great length, although we don’t have an official wingspan.

Nnaji has great movement skills for a player his size and is especially impressive with how he slides his feet and defends in space. He also shows great body control on his spin moves and nimble for feet for a player his size (he’s listed at 225lbs but I’m sure he weights a lot more than that).

On the offensive end he mostly scores in the most and is an impressive leaper and dunker who finishes with power. He’s got a knack for getting open off the pick and roll and is a great finisher.
