Ivica Zubac NBA Draft Scouting Report

7-1 – Center – Croatia

Powerful center with a developing skill set and great size.

Has great size, strength and length and is a force in the paint. Has decent mobility for such a large player and can slide his feet well.

Has a really nice touch from within 5 feet and can finish through contact. Is developing some consistent back to the basket moves and has the size to play in the post at the NBA level. Has a nice drop step and shows a knack for drawing contact at the rim.

Knows his role on D and does a good job of guarding the lane and protecting the rim. Solid rebounder.

Doesn’t have good speed and is a bit slow changing ends. Plays an old school game and isn’t as well suited for today’s fast pace play.

Doesn’t space the floor much and will have to expand his shooting range.

Poor man’s Andrew Bogut.

Projection: late first to mid second round pick in the 2016 or 2017 NBA Draft
