Isaiah Taylor NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-1 – Point Guard – Texas

A true point guard who can also score the ball well. Fearless leader.

Pros
Has an uncanny feel for the game and great instincts as a floor general. Has stepped into a leadership role and become a go-to player in clutch situations.

Scores the ball well in the lane and has great handles which help him get past defenders. Can drive with either hand and has nice touch around the basket and on teardrops. Is very crafty with the ball and has top level quickness.

A pesky defender who plays with a lot of heart.

Cons
A poor outside shooter who really struggles from three point land. Shoots a low percentage from the field overall and could use better shot selection. Needs to cut down on turnovers and continue to improve his assist to turnover ratio.

Very slight of build and will have to add a lot of weight and strength.
