Draft Notes
Veesaar is a prototypical big man who has shown steady improvement over the years and has become an impact player in the paint. He’s a very solid athlete for a 7-footer, changes ends well and can really attack the rim.
Plays within himself and does everything you want your center to do including defending at the rim, showing some switch-ability and being a lob threat. He’s got good hands and gets off his feet well, making him a real threat around the rim.
Has developed into a really nice passer out of the post who can operate as an offensive hub. Can also feed the post and make big to big passes.
Veesaar has taken his game to a new level with his ability to stretch the floor and hit the open 3pt shot. He’s not a very high volume 3pt shooter but is accurate and a real threat from downtown.
Doesn’t project as a star player but has NBA level tools and should play in the league for a long time.
