Draft Notes
Yang Hansen is a unique talent with great size and a very impressive set of skills. He’s a good ball handler and passer who has a great touch around the rim. He can be an offensive hub and a point center who fascinates the offense.
He’s not a very mobile player and will probably get cooked on switches at the NBA level. But he does have the size and developing strength to hold his own in the paint and a very good feel/BBIQ.
Needs to improve his strength and conditioning.
Yang hasn’t played against great competition in the CBA but he’s been very impressive and shows some real NBA level skills.
It’s not every day you find a 7-2 youngster who can handle and pass the rock like Hansen Yang.
Comparisons
- kind of a strange comp. but he reminds me of a much bigger Domantas Sabonis – which would be a really good NBA player.
