Hannes Steinbach

A solid, skilled and fundamentally sound big man who plays hard and does a lot of the little things well on the court. Isn’t a flashy player but knows where to be, has good touch around the basket and plays with good energy.

Steinbach is a very good rebounder on both ends. He has good strength and enough size to hold his own in the paint and has a knack for tracking down the ball.

He’s not a flashy offensive player but has very good hands, catches everything thrown his way and has good touch around the rim.

He’s not a super twitchy or bursty athlete but moves very well for his size and has enough suddenness to get by defenders and get to the rim.

Is developing as a shooter and shows promise. Doesn’t take a lot of threes but is starting to hit them and will likely develop into a solid floor spacer.

Is a fundamentally sound defender who has some versatility on that end. Isn’t a big time leaper or shot blocker but is still a plus on defense with his size, high energy and rebounding.
