Furkan Korkmaz NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-7 – Shooting Guard – Turkey

A deft ball handler who shows point guard skills in a 6-7 body. Has a great feel for the game.

Has great length for a combo guard and is very creative with the basketball. Has natural point guard instincts and is great in transition. Handles the ball well with both hands and plays with his head up.

Has nice length and can really play above the rim. Very speedy in the open court and is a smooth, fluid athlete.

Has good shooting mechanics and hits with consistency.

Is very skinny and will always be more of a wiry kind of guy.

Needs to step up the defensive intensity and continue to grow his understanding of the game.

Reminds of Kevin Martin, Devin Booker and Mario Hezonja. He’s got a crafty offensive game like Kevin Martin but is longer and can play above the rim, more like Hezonja. Very smooth from three point range.

He’s got a little Manu Ginobili in his game.
