Frank Ntilikina NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-5 – Point Guard – Belgium

A long and athletic lead guard, currently playing in France. High upside player with a ton of length for the position. Yet another high level PG in this draft. Has top 10 potential.

Pros
Very long, quick and athletic guard with natural play-making ability. Finds teammates well off the bounce and has an ability to get into the lane with long strides and impressive burst. Is a true point guard who is always looks to get others involved.

Has the height to see over the defense and is a real weapon as a passer with his ability to see the floor and get to his spots to make a pass.

Gets into the lane and score in traffic and over length. Has enough size and leaping ability to make plays above the rim, even through contact.

Hits on floaters and runners in the lane, showing a nice touch and great timing.

A standout perimeter defender who gets after the ball handler. His on the ball pressure leads to a lot of tough passes, steals and generally disrupts the opposing offense.

Plays the game with intensity and is a good competitor.

Cons
Skinny and lite and will have to add a lot of strength to guard at the NBA level. Can get caught reaching and needs to stay discipline, without loosing his intensity on the defensive end.

A little wild with his outside shot and is not yet a consistent threat from downtown.

Comparisons
Taller Darren Collison or Dennis Schroder
