Draft Notes

McCormack has made huge strides during his time at Kansas, looking much more mobile, in shape, confident in his offensive game and taking on a leadership role. He’s got a rock solid frame and his improved mobility certainly lifts his draft stock.

He’s also a really solid FT shooter for big, hitting over 80% from the line.

McCormack isn’t the most springy athlete and is bit heavy footed. He does most of his scoring below the rim or from the mid post and also show flashes or range out to about 18 feet. He’ll likely expand his range even farther over the next few years of his development.

He’s a really hard worker who gives great effort on the court and loves to grind and to the dirty work. He’ll interview well and be a solid locker room guy.
