Darius Acuff Jr. is a special talent. His skill level and feel for the game are off the charts and he dominates the pace of play and looks to be in total control of the game when he’s on the court.

He’s got an uncanny feel for shaking defenders off balance and is nearly impossible to keep out of the lane. He can drive with either hand and has overall great ball handling ability. He might be the best ball handler in the draft.

He’s a tough shot maker who knows how to create space with the dribble and get into side-steps and step-backs. While he might not be a true marksman or purest shooter he’s been hitting shots at a very high clip and is major threat from downtown. His growth and improvement in his outside shot has been impressive.

Isn’t the biggest point guard and isn’t much of an above the rim player. He’s a great finisher who knows how to finish over and around length in the lane and he doesn’t need to play above the rim to be very effective.

He’s mainly a one position defender who can occasionally guard wings but is mostly going to match up against opposing point guards. He gets a lot of flack for his poor defense and rightfully so but I think he’ll develop into a serviceable defender at the next level. Either way, his offensive firepower is enough make teams over look his subpar defense.
